Douglas Onyango is an ICT strategy consultant and project manager with more than 12 years’ experience in the UN, telco, education, health and finance sectors in Africa. He has delivered several successful digital technology assignments in Uganda, Malawi, Kenya, Tanzania, Nigeria and most recently Afghanistan.
Douglas is the Founder and CTO of DERON LTD, an innovations and ICT company in Uganda; the Vice Chairperson of the ICT Sector at PSFU as well as a member of the Boards of Network Information Center (NICug) and Anti-counterfeit Network Africa (ACN)
He is a former member of the UN IGF’s Multi-stakeholder Advisory Group, former Vice Chair of ISOC’s Chapter Advisory Committee and former member of ICANN’S Address Supporting Organization.
